Which format should I choose: JPG, WebP or AVIF?

AVIF and WebP are usually much smaller than JPG at the same quality and work in all modern browsers. For online application forms, choose JPG unless the form says it accepts WebP or AVIF.

How do I compress a photo to 20 KB or 50 KB?

Choose Target size, tap 20 KB or 50 KB (or type any number), and tap Compress image. The tool lowers the quality and, if needed, the resolution until the photo fits.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The photo is compressed inside your browser and never leaves your device. WebP and AVIF encoders may be downloaded the first time you use them.
